Most of the time I’m playing — I’m playing random. I enjoy mixing it up. My 2v2 partner has been playing zerg, filling up on roaches after a 6-8 ling mineral harass. It’s worked well.
Last night we were banshee rushed, twice. We had back-to-back games against either terran-toss or terran-zerg and both times one player harassed, not always effectively, while the terran raced to air. Now baseline — banshees are pretty good. The air-to-ground attack can own zerg early, unless there are already hyrdas on the board. With the cloaking upgrade, banshees can just own.
Once we realized what was going on, it was already too late. Both games were losses, big time.
Here is what we learned:
They were interesting losses if only for the fact that they will change my mid-game play a little bit.
